Domain Names I Own
I’m just beginning to list domain names I own, so many of them aren’t linked, or they don’t have explanations (and some need explaining!). I’ll be fixing that problem over the next few weeks. Most links listed below are undeveloped, and most are for sale. But, this list could change on a whim. On the other hand, even if the site doesn’t appear to be for sale, I’m always game to hear your offers. Note all the “Alleghany” (as in Virginia) and “Allegheny” (as in Pennsylvania) names. - Appomattox Classifieds - I purchased some classified ad software that runs on PHP. Will let you all know how it works out!
- Appomattox Directory - The town of Appomattox itself is small, but the county holds many businesses. I intend for the directory to hold free listings…but it has to pay for itself somehow…possibly advertising.
- Appomattox Genealogy - Just because.
- Appomattox History - This IS where the American Civil War ended, after all.
- Appomattox News - I decided to take Appomattox Calendar (see above) off the market and I purchased a number of new domain names to go with this theme. All begin with “Appomattox” as you’ll see above and below…
- Appomattox Realty - The charge for Appomattox Real Estate (dot com) is $1,495. To heck with that!
- BestofTonight.com - I just moved this to a live server to develop content for the site. Think Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, and now - possibly Conan O’Brien!
- CharmingTown.net - Definitely for sale. Sedo.
- CoffeeTalkin.com - Hugh, my business partner, and I own this domain name, and we initially used it for a writers’ forum at CoffeeBeanShop (see below). We couldn’t handle the forum, as one person made the forum a nasty place to visit. At the time, we didn’t know about domain blocking. So, we just pulled down the site and sat on the name. It is for sale, but we may decide to do something with it in a year or so? Who knows.
- CoffeeBeanShop.com - Way underdeveloped. Had this domain name for years, and I’ve let it slide. Great content.
- ColoradoThoroughbred.com - For sale at Sedo, but I’m looking into site development.
- DirtyPain.com - I purchased this domain name after reading this news story headline about “dirty pain.” Of course, the name could go in several directions, depending upon the intent. Definitely for sale.
- EagleSerpent.com - I knew nothing about the Ron Howard movie when I purchased this domain name and the “Serpent Eagle” name listed below. I do have them for sale at Sedo.

- GoinHome.com - I’ve had this domain name forever. Now developing it with historic Virginia travel.
- HotSpringsDigest.com - I don’t think I’ll sell this one.
- Intern-Now.com - Definitely for sale. I don’t have the incentive to develop right now. Think of a directory where students can list their interests in internships and where businesses can find or seek interns.
- JamesRiverGenealogy.com - In development. Much more work to do.
- JamesRiverVirginia.com - Not for sale.
- LimoHell.com - I have no earthly idea where this idea came from, but I don’t have the inclination to develop it. Think humor, tourism, possibly city life or Hollywood, etc.
